India Women vs Australia Women September 2025 and marked the venue’s first international matches. In December 2025, the first men’s T20I played at the stadium between India and South Africa.

Another significant achievement for the ground reached in June 2026, when Afghanistan played India at the venue’s maiden Test. India won by an innings and 300 runs.

Upcoming International Cricket at the Stadium

It will host international cricket during the 2026 West Indies tour of India. As per Cricbuzz, the third ODI of India vs West Indies will be played on October 3,2026 at Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium.

More International matches at the ODI Stadium will allow its Test, ODI and T20I records to be more reflective of its permanent playing conditions.
